Dr. Natasha Smith-Mattern, a graduate of the University of Florida and Southern California University of Health Sciences, received her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Microbiology & Cell Science and her degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine, respectively. Dr. Natasha always sought a career in the health care profession. As a functional chiropractic physician, she realizes chiropractic adjustments are the key to unlocking wellness. Understanding the power and importance of chiropractic adjustments, Dr. Natasha developed her blueprint to restore normal function in the body by isolating the underlying cause of nerve irritation (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time). Recognizing that chiropractic adjustments alone cannot retrain the spine, she utilizes decompression therapy, massage therapy, yoga/exercise, diet and postural/lifestyle modifications to improve her patients’ bodies’ ability to function optimally. Using her unique approach, Dr. Natasha is able to help her patients accelerate and maintain their journey to better health and a better quality of living. Her mantra remains, “It’s not about pain, it’s about function!”
Dr. Natasha’s office is located in the heart of Beverly Hills, CA. She has made it her life’s mission to become a household name by pushing through the barriers and stigmas associated with chiropractors, and to prove that functional chiropractic is a key to optimal wellness. She treats professional athletes, celebrities, pregnant woman (using the Logan and Webster technique), babies, toddlers, adolescents, and adults (with techniques varying from diversified, activator, SOT and drop).
Dr. Natasha is a member of the Black Chiropractic Association, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and licensed in California. She was featured on NBC4, News 4 for Your Health, Washington, DC where she was previously licensed and practiced. Prior to relocating to Beverly Hills, she operated her practice in Coral Gables, FL.
